Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County to conduct orientation sessions

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct both an online orientation session and an in-person session for potential volunteers this week.

The online session will stream on the Zoom internet meeting platform from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 7.

Participants will need a computer with a camera, microphone and speakers; a tablet; or a smartphone.

Community members interested in participating should call 360-452-1511 by noon Wednesday, Jan. 6 to get a link for the class emailed to them.

The in-person session will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8 at 829 E. Eighth St. in Port Angeles.

No registration is required for Friday’s session, but all participants must wear a mask.

The hospice organization has a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including equipment delivery drivers and helpers.
