VIDEO — ‘Surf Erie’ plays to the beauty of Lake Crescent

Peninsula Daily News staffers discovered this jewel while surfing the Web the other day.

“Surf Erie” from the album Deep Sea EP 7″ by the band Monster Rally plays to scenes in and around Lake Crescent in this video directed by Tyler Coray, a student film maker and photographer at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.

Monster Rally – Surf Erie from Tyler Coray on Vimeo.

“At the beginning of summer, a friend of mine introduced me to Monster Rally, and from that moment I was hooked,” writes Coray.

“The samples that make up his definitive sound, reflect all those moments of summer spent with your friends, the moments you shared together, and the places you went. This was one of those moments.

“I would like to thank Ted Feighan of Monster Rally for asking me to make this video for him. I couldn’t have been happier to take on this project.

“Shot at Lake Crescent in the Olympic Peninsula.”
