MARROWSTONE ISLAND — Utility work is set to begin on state Highway 116 on Marrowstone Island near Kilisut Harbor on Thursday.
Utility crews from the Jefferson County Public Utility District will replace outdated utility poles near a state Department of Transportation fish barrier correction project from noon to 5 p.m.
Drivers can expect intermittent delays between those times for up to 15 minutes as the crews install the utility poles across the highway.
