Repainting of the red and yellow curbs in the downtown Port Angeles area and replacement of worn traffic legends and centerline markers will occur over a three-week period beginning today.
The work should be completed by Friday, May 6, weather permitting, city Street Superintendent Gary Stempin said.
First and Front streets, along with Railroad Avenue, will be reduced to one lane. Cherry, Oak, Laurel and Lincoln streets will have periodic lane revisions, Stempin said.
Motorists should watch for flaggers, equipment and traffic revisions, he added.
