PORT ANGELES — Voices for Veterans will hold its final one-day stand-down operation for the year at the Clallam County Fairgrounds on Thursday, Oct. 3.
Homeless, in-need veterans as well as their immediate dependent family members can receive a variety of services at the fairgrounds, 1608 W. 16th St.
Free transportation will be made available by Clallam and Jefferson transits. Veterans need only to identify themselves as a veteran for the benefit.
Attendees can access medical-dental, housing, counseling and employment services, as well as haircuts, food, pet supplies and clothing.
