The remaining schedule for the second and final weekend of the 118th Sequim Irrigation Festival:
Saturday (May 11)
■ A loggers breakfast will be served by the Sequim Valley Lions Club from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Guy Cole Convention Center in Carrie Blake Park.
Cost is $10.
■ The Dungeness River Center Run will head out from the J.C. Penney parking lot at Seventh and Washington streets, down the course of the Grand Parade and back.
Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. The run will start at 10:20 a.m.
■ Vendors will offer fresh produce, flowers and food at the Sequim Open Aire Market on Cedar Street between Sequim and Second avenues from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
■ Kids Parade lineup and judging will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Walgreens parking lot at Fifth and Washington streets.
The parade, with prizes for children 12 and younger, will take off at 10 a.m.
It will end shortly thereafter at the Thomas Building shop at Third and Washington streets.
■ The Logging Show, Truck and Tractor Pull venue will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Carrie Blake Park.
Lawnmower races will start at 11 a.m., with the main event at about 3 p.m.
Chain-saw carving will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with live auction of carvings at about 5 p.m.
Tractor pulls will be at noon.
The Logging Show will start at 2 p.m. It will include ax throwing, spar pole climbing, pole falling, hot saws, power saws, hand bucking and special tree acts.
An antique saw exhibit and petting zoo are planned.
There will also be a beer garden and food vendors.
■ Sequim Arts’ 37th juried show and sale will be at the MAC’s — Museum & Arts Center’s — Exhibit Building, 175 W. Cedar St., from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The exhibit is on display until June 1.
■ Classics will be in the Car Cruzz around downtown from 10:55 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Cars later will be on display at Walmart, 1110 W. Washington St.
■ High noon will be the time for the Grand Parade of citizens, pioneers and royalty alongside bands and floats from across Washington state down Washington Street from Dunlap Avenue to Seventh Street.
■ Davis Shows’ Carnival will run on the green field at Sequim High School from noon to 9 p.m. All-day armbands purchased at the carnival are $25.
■ Friends of Sequim Library will host its May book sale at the group’s building behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
A selection of collectible books published in the first half of the 20th century is featured this month, along with a selection of gardening books.
Those who purchase a $2 Friends bookbag in the group’s outside area can fill it there for an additional $1.
This Buck-A-Bag promotion begins at 10 a.m. and applies only to items offered for sale outside.
■ The Sequim High School operetta “Footloose” will be performed at 7 p.m. at the school. Premium seats are $12, adults are $10, seniors and students with SHS identification are $8.
Sunday (May 12)
■ Davis Shows’ Carnival runs on the Sequim High School green field from noon to 6 p.m.
All-day armbands purchased at the carnival are $25.
■ Sequim Arts’ 37th juried show and sale will be at the MAC’s Exhibit Building from noon to 3 p.m.
