SEQUIM — One of the last two City Council members remaining when the city’s form of government changed in 1995 is planning to resign in the near future.
Trina Berg, citing the need to spend more time with her family and focusing on her retail business, confirmed that she was planning to quit the council.
Berg has about 20 months left on the four-year term she won in 1999.
Berg said she is planning to stay on the council for another month or two to see the completion of work she’s interested in.
