PORT TOWNSEND — The murder trial of Robert Stoner of Quilcene will conclude later this week following testimony from an expert crime scene analyst for the defense.
But jurors will get today off because crime scene analyst Alexander Jason of Pinole, Calif., is unable to be in court until Thursday.
Jason will testify on behalf of the defense.
Stoner, 55, is accused of the Oct. 2, 2000 shooting death of Douglas McFarland, 45, which allegedly occurred at Stoner’s Leland Valley Road house. He is being tried for first-degree murder before Jefferson County Superior Court Judge Tom Majhan.
