PORT ANGELES — Hundreds of people swarmed Ennis Arbor Farm on Sunday to take part in the third StreamFest.
An estimated 400 people took guided walks along Ennis Creek, listened to experts’ discussions on marine and forest habitat issues, heard live music and enjoyed the Lower Elwha Klallam tribe’s salmon dinner.
The StreamFest salmon dinner raised money for the North Olympic Land Trust, selling close to 400 tickets, said Robbie Mantooth, who along with her husband, Jim, hosted the event at the end of Lindberg Road.
The Mantooth property is permanently protected from further development under a conservation agreement with North Olympic Land Trust.
The trust was formed in 1990 and now protects about 834 acres of land in Clallam County.
