CARLSBORG — A 21-year-old Port Angeles man who deputies said was caught looking through a teenage girl’s bedroom window early Friday morning was arrested on investigation of residential burglary and voyeurism.
Spencer J. Silva was handcuffed by Clallam County sheriff’s deputies at about 2 a.m. after a Carlsborg resident told authorities that his daughter was awakened to find a male looking through her window, deputies said.
Deputies arrested Silva less than 100 yards from the residence, according to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office.
Clallam County Superior Court Judge Ken Williams on Friday released Silva without bail on the condition that he have no contact with the alleged victim.
Silva will be formally charged in Superior Court on Tuesday at 1 p.m.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, the victim told deputies that her bedroom screen had been removed, her window opened and blinds raised, meaning Silva had apparently reached inside the bedroom.
Residential burglary is a Class B felony. Voyeurism is a Class C felony.
