RENTON — Port Angeles High School is dropping down to Class 2A.
The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association released its reclassification numbers today.
Port Angeles, along with fellow 3A Olympic League schools Olympic and North Kitsap, fell to 2A after 24 schools with low enrollment numbers decided to opt up to Class 4A and 3A. The odd man out is Bremerton, which remained in 3A as the classification’s third-smallest school.
