SEATTLE — The Coast Guard says a South King County Fire and Rescue marine crew has pulled four people from the water near the suburb of Des Moines after an 18-foot boat overturned.

The Coast Guard called out a response boat from Seattle and a helicopter from Air Station Port Angeles after a person on shore spotted the overturned boat and called for help Wednesday evening.

But the King County crew reached the scene first.

The cause of the mishap was not immediately known.
