Port Angeles city officials are meeting with representatives from businesses and special interest groups from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. today, Friday, at City Hall, located at 321 E. Fifth St., to discuss habitat preservation, open space, tribal and other issues related to replacement of the two Eighth Street bridges in 2005-2006.
A second meeting with government and Clallam Transit System officials is planned in the afternoon to discuss detours and delays connected with replacing the spans over Valley and Tumwater creeks.
An incorrect date for the meeting was reported Thursday.
A meeting for the general public is being planned for Jan. 15.
