The Washington State University Jefferson County Extension’s Master Gardener program will hold free plant clinics twice a week from April through September.
There will be a clinic from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays from this Monday through Sept. 30 in the Community Development Office, 621 Sheridan St. in Port Townsend.
The other clinic will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays from April 9 through Sept. 24 in the county extension office, 121 Oak Bay Road in Port Hadlock.
Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions ranging from pest infestation to unknown pathogens destroying plants.
To diagnose a plant problem, fresh plant specimens showing both healthy and unhealthy tissue need to be brought in with the cut ends wrapped in a moist paper towel.
