Peter Johnson, human relations manager for McKinley Paper Co., conducts an orientation meeting during a hiring event Thursday at the Armory Square Professional Center in Port Angeles. By 11 a.m. of the all-day event, the company had received 55 applications for 15 positions immediately available, with 120 workers needed when the containerboard mill becomes fully operational.
