Peninsula’s best voter guide appears in today’s PDN

Today’s eight-page special section of the has complete information about the primary election races in Clallam and Jefferson counties.

It profiles all the candidates and focuses on their positions on various issues.

The top two vote getters in each of the primary election races advance to the Nov. 6 general election.

The primary is Sept. 18, but mail-in ballots were sent to registered voters in the appropriate voting districts last Wednesday, Aug. 29.

The primary election is being conducted only by mail.

There is no voting at neighborhood polls.

If you haven’t gotten your ballot by Tuesday, contact the county auditor’s office.

Voters can either mail back their ballots postmarked no later than Sept. 18, or drop them off by no later than 8 p.m. Sept. 18 at:

Jefferson voters: county Courthouse in Port Townsend.

Clallam voters: county Courthouse in Port Angeles; Sequim Motor Vehicle Licensing Office at 1001 E. Washington; Forks City Hall.
