Peninsula: Hoteliers to discuss PA’s downtown convention center plan

PORT ANGELES — Local motel owners are holding a closed-door meeting at 7 p.m. tonight at the Best Western Olympic Lodge, located at 140 DelGuzzi Drive off U.S. Highway 101 in Port Angeles.

They will discuss possible legal action to block the proposed Oak Street hotel and conference center. Several motel managers have expressed their support for a suit, at least in principle.
