Clallam and Jefferson counties’ health departments should receive new supplies of influenza vaccine early next year, the health official for both counties said Wednesday.
“The (Center for Disease Control) said we should get some new vaccine to health departments nationwide in early January,” said Tom Locke.
“We would take advantage of that because we believe we have a number of people who haven’t been able to get vaccinated yet.”
Both counties’ health departments ran out of flu vaccine nearly three weeks ago, turning away hundreds attending vaccination clinics, health department officials reported.
