PORT ANGELES — The Peninsula College Foundation announced the availability of additional scholarships for Peninsula College’s 2020-21 academic year.
Two of the new scholaships are James D. Glann Memorial Scholarship, for a first-generation college student, and the Olympic Peninsula Porsche Club Scholarship, for a student in the college’s automotive technology program.
Application deadlines vary, with the majority due by April 19.
The organizers advise applicants to check each scholarship’s deadline.
To apply for a scholarship:
• Visit www.thewash board.org.
• Create a login and a personal profile.
• Enter “Peninsula College” in the search toolbar to review the list of all available college and foundation scholarships.
Additional scholarships might become available, so those interested are encouraged to check the site often for any updates, organizers said.
Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the scholarship deadline will not be accepted.
Scholarship award notifications for general scholarships will be provided to students beginning May 18.
Students awarded nursing scholarships will be notified starting July 20.
