DUNGENESS — Harvest time is here, but a handful of farmers are taking time out on Monday to plant some seeds in visitors’ minds.
Nash’s Organic Produce has been chosen for a Washington State University farm walk, an exploration of how organic crops can flourish in a particular climate.
The walk, from 9:30 a.m. to noon Monday, will sample just a few of the 400 acres Nash Huber farms across the Dungeness Valley.
It’s open to community members as well as growers and those who are considering organic farming.
