Olympic National Park officials monitoring production of “The Hunted” on federal land west of Port Angeles said Saturday that inclement weather has slowed work on the major motion picture.
Because of snowfall during the last 48 hours, the film crew only shot a 30-second sequence Saturday, park spokeswoman Barb Maynes said.
“Their day got off to a slow start because of hazardous road conditions,” Maynes said Saturday. “It is amazing to see how much work goes into preparing even a short scene.”
Maynes said snowfall has also limited the scope of Paramount Pictures Corp. filming.
“The rest of the scenes they have shot here did not have snow in them,” she said. “But they were able to work around it by not shooting any panorama type scenes.”
