North Olympic Library System to host bilingual storytime

The North Olympic Library System will host English/Spanish bilingual storytime at three of its branches during January.

The program will be at the Forks Library, 171 S. Forks Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17.

It also will be presented at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, and at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave, at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 29.

The bilingual sessions will give families an opportunity to expose their children to two languages.

Knowledge of Spanish is not necessary.

The free early literacy program is designed for children up to 5 years old and their adult caregivers.

Storytime sessions feature singing, reading, talking, playing and writing.
