Medical event prompts wreck near Port Angeles

PORT ANGELES — A Port Angeles man was transported to Olympic Medical Center on Monday afternoon after his car ran into the median on U.S. Highway 101 near Lake Farm Road east of Port Angeles.

Zachary Olson, 25, had a medical incident shortly after noon that forced him to swerve right, then left into the median, according to the State Patrol.

Olson was transported to the hospital as a precaution.
