PORT ANGELES — The League of Women Voters of Clallam County will host an informational meeting on the proposed Port Angeles School District capital improvement levy at 6 p.m. Jan. 15.
The meeting will be in the City Council chambers at Port Angeles City Hall.
The levy will appear on the Feb. 11 ballot for voters who live within the boundaries of the school district.
School district officials will present information about the proposed levy and answer questions from the audience.
Representatives of Port Angeles Citizens for Education, an organization supporting the levy, and Citizens for Affordable Schools, an organization that opposes the levy, have been invited to attend.
League of Women Voters members will moderate and video record this meeting.

Ballots will be mailed on Jan. 22. People can register to vote, or check the status of their voter registration, online at VoteWA.gov.
