PORT ANGELES — The North Olympic Library System has hired Meghan Sullivan as its public services director.

Sullivan earned a Bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Washington in 1997 and a master’s degree in library and information science, also from the University of Washington, in 2008.

Sullivan joins the library after 14 years with the Pierce County Library System, where she was a youth service librarian, the manager of the South Hill branch library and, most recently, customer experience manager for branch operations.

Sullivan will fill a job position that has remained vacant since July 2020, when its previous occupant, Noah Glaude, was promoted to executive director.
