Jefferson County commissioners plan two special meetings

PORT TOWNSEND — The three Jefferson County commissioners will conduct two special meetings this week.

The commissioners will conduct a coordination meeting at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

The hybrid meeting is at the commissioners chambers in the Jefferson County Courthouse, 1820 Jefferson St., Port Townsend.

The commissioners will discuss strategic plan implementation, hear a financial update from Judy Shepherd and conduct a roundtable conversation.

The commissioners also will meet jointly with the Jefferson County Planning Commission at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The hybrid meeting is in the Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road, Sequim.

The joint meeting will discuss the annual report and work plan for 2024 and 2025 and will discuss process improvements for 2024.
