PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County Commissioner Wendi Wrinkle, D-Shine, isn’t expected to return to her elected duties until the first week of June.
Wrinkle, elected last fall, reported she had a health condition in early May and hasn’t been at her office or public meetings since.
She didn’t reveal the nature of her illness and hasn’t returned calls seeking that information.
County Administrator David Goldsmith announced Wrinkle’s tentative return during an update on county business during a commissioner meeting Monday.
