Hundreds of North Olympic Peninsula children hit the bunny trail Saturday collecting thousands of eggs and prizes left by Peter Cottontail.
Easter egg hunts highlighted holiday activities in Neah Bay, LaPush, Forks, Joyce, Clallam Bay-Sekiu, Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend, Port Ludlow, Queets-Clearwater, Quilcene, Beaver and Brinnon.
And the hunts aren’t over.
Two more Easter egg hunts are planned for today in Port Townsend and one at Kalaloch.
The Port Townsend Elks Lodge 76th annual Easter egg hunt begins at 7 a.m. at Chetzemoka Park, located off Jackson Street. At 1 p.m. egg hunters will swarm into American Legion Park on Discovery Road for another event.
On the West End, egg hunters will gather at noon at Kalaloch Lodge, 157151 U.S. Highway 101, just south of Mercantile Store.
