Hospice volunteer orientation held online, in person

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County will conduct both an online orientation session and an in-person session for potential volunteers this week.

The online session will stream on the Zoom internet meeting platform from 11 a.m. to noon today, Aug. 6.

Participants will need a computer with a camera, microphone and speakers; a tablet; or a smartphone.

Community members interested in participating should call 360-452-1511 to get a link to the class emailed to them.

The in-person session will be offered from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at 829 E. Eighth St. in Port Angeles.

No registration is required for Friday’s session, but all participants must wear a mask.

The hospice organization has a variety of volunteer opportunities available, including equipment delivery drivers and helpers.
