CHIMACUM — No one was hurt in a manufactured home fire on Egg and I Road over the weekend.
Six fire districts answered a call at 6 p.m. Sunday evening at 1460 Egg and I Road to extinguish the blaze.
The structure was destroyed, East Jefferson Fire-Rescue Deputy Chief Ted Krysinski said.
No one was at home at the time of the fire. A family member living close to the home called 9-1-1 to report it.
All those who had lived there found places to stay Sunday night, Krysinski said.
Two goats were lost in the fire, Krysinski said.
An investigation is under way to determine the cause.
It took about 12 minutes for firefighters to arrive at the home, Krysinski said.
The blaze was easily extinguished, though engines had some difficulty backing up the one-lane driveway, he said.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross Olympic Peninsula chapter provided food and coffee for firefighters.
Assisting with firefighting were personnel with fire districts 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, and Station 91.
