Holiday prompts closures, park fee-free days

Local, state and federal offices will be closed Monday for Martin Luther King Day.

Both Jefferson and Clallam transit bus services will not operate Monday.

Both the Olympic National Park and state parks will waive admission fees on Monday for the holiday. That includes the national park’s $30 admission fee for a motor vehicle for seven consecutive days and the state parks’ Discover Pass.

Other fees will remain in effect.
