nGovernment: All Washington state, Clallam and Jefferson county offices and city halls in Port Angeles, Sequim, Port Townsend and Forks will be closed Friday for the Independence Day holiday.
Post offices will be closed Saturday, and there will be no regular mail delivery.
All state Department of Licensing offices will be closed Friday.
State-run liquor stores will be open Friday and Saturday.
All North Olympic Peninsula school district offices will be closed Friday.
nGarbage: Pickup schedules for Port Angeles city customers, West Waste and Recycling and Murrey’s Olympic Disposal will be the same as usual.
nBanks: Banks will be open Friday. Bank of America, First Federal, Chase, US Bank and Wells Fargo, normally open on Saturday, will be closed July 4.
nLibraries: North Olympic Library System branches, the Port Townsend City Library and Jefferson County Library in Port Hadlock will be closed Saturday.
nSenior centers: Port Angeles Senior Center will be closed Friday and is always closed Saturday. Sequim Senior Center will be open Friday on its regular schedule. Port Townsend Senior Center will be closed Friday and Saturday.
nBuses: Clallam Transit and Jefferson Transit will have no service Saturday.
There will be no shuttle service for the fireworks in Port Townsend this year.
nPools: The Sequim Aquatic Recreation Center and Port Townsend Pool will be closed Saturday. William Shore Memorial Pool in Port Angeles will be closed for maintenance from Saturday through Aug. 2.
nFerries: The ferries MV Coho and the Victoria Express between Port Angeles and Victoria and the Victoria Express to Friday Harbor, PS Express between Port Townsend and Friday Harbor and state ferries between Port Townsend and Keystone will operate on their normal seasonal and weekend schedules. The Edmonds/Kingston and Seattle/Bainbridge Island runs will be on a holiday schedule.

nPublic utility districts: PUD offices in Port Angeles, Port Hadlock, Sequim and Forks will be closed Friday.
nVisitor activities: Port Townsend, Port Angeles and Sequim visitor centers will be open Independence Day. The Forks office will be open shorter hours, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., on Saturday because of the parade.
The Olympic Game Farm will be open.
The Clallam County Historical Society Museum will be closed July 4. All three Jefferson County Historical Society museums are open during their normal hours Saturday.
