OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK — Quarters featuring a Roosevelt elk wading into the Hoh River’s graveled shores against a backdrop of Mount Olympus will be released next year.
The specific release date has not been determined. The official design was announced by the U.S. Mint on its website today.
The Olympic National Park quarter will be the eighth in the “America the Beautiful” series which began this year, the website said.
