PORT ANGELES — Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County has scheduled volunteer orientations in Sequim and Port Angeles in the coming months in an effort to expand its volunteer base.
The first volunteer orientation will take place in Sequim at Dungeness Valley Lutheran Church, 925 N. Sequim Ave., from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
The second session will take place in Port Angeles at the Elwha Klallam Center, 401 E. First St., from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.
Presently building homes in Port Angeles and Forks, Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County is a growing organization looking for more volunteers in a variety of roles, including participation in committee work, the Habitat store, administrative office and on construction sites, according to a news release.
