‘Guys Night Out’ shopping event in Sequim on Wednesday

SEQUIM — The Sequim Merchant Group and Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce are hosting a new holiday event to encourage residents to shop at Sequim merchants — “Guys Night Out” from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The event “will allow convenient and fun shopping opportunities with extended hours — and, of course, either gender can shop,” according to the two groups.

“A wonderful gift basket has been created, with items donated by local merchants. The basket will be raffled off [in a drawing] at the end of the night.”

To enter the drawing, shop from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at any of the 18 merchants participating at the event.

The drawing will be at Oasis Bar & Grill, 301 E. Washington St., shortly after 8 p.m.

For a list of participating merchants, contact the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce at 360-683-6197, visit www.sequimchamber.com or the chamber’s Facebook page.

The chamber is holding its annual “after hours holiday open house at the chamber’s Visitor Information Center, 1192 E. Washington St., from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today.

There will be refreshments and a drawing.
