PORT ANGELES — After six months of delays, The Gateway transit center has a final completion date — June 5.
That’s when the city of Port Angeles expects Primo Construction of Carlsborg to have a repair completed for a damaged foundation wall in the project’s pavilion.
Primo will begin the work on Tuesday, said City Manager Kent Myers. The repairs are scheduled to take 10 working days.
But before the wall is repaired, the city and Clallam Transit, which are partners in the project, expect to have at least the west parking garage opened, he said.
Myers said Clallam Transit will open the garage for use at noon Friday, May 22.
