SEQUIM — Saturday’s the big day for North Olympic Peninsula couples planning for the big day later this year.
The Peninsula Daily News Bridal Show runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Guy Cole Convention Center at Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave., Sequim.
Admission is free.
The show is geared for future brides and grooms, but it offers great ideas to parents, future in-laws and anyone else who enjoys viewing the booths and displays of 19 exhibitors.
A highlight will be the 20-minute bridal fashion shows that begin at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The fashion shows will be presented by Black Diamond Bridal and, for grooms, The Toggery. Flower settings will be provided by Sofie’s Floral and A Corner-Copia of Flowers.
Displays on the Bridal Show floor will feature services and merchandise ranging from financial planning to lingerie, women’s makeup to formal wear for any special occasion, not just weddings.
A 24-page special section featuring exhibitors and wedding-related services across the North Olympic Peninsula appeared in last Sunday’s Peninsula Daily News.
Extra copies of the section, Bride & Groom 2006, are available at no charge today at any of the PDN offices (see “Contact Us,” above) or at the Bridal Show on Saturday.
