FORKS: Police continue search for shooting suspect

>

Police searched two mobile homes on Calawah Way late Tuesday, but were unable to locate a shooting suspect.

The suspect, 30-year-old Lombardo Ceja-Gomez, is considered armed and dangerous.

“We’re still following any leads that come in,” Forks police Chief Mike Powell said Wednesday.

Ceja-Gomez is wanted in the Sunday shooting of 22-year-old Juan Ortiz-Cornego, who was shot once in the right side early while he sat in a car parked on Calawah Way.

He was later treated and released from a Seattle hospital.

Anyone with information about Ceja-Gomez is asked to call 9-1-1 or the Forks Police Department at 360-374-2223.
