FORKS — About 125 cable television subscribers on the West End will find themselves without a cable provider at the end of this month.
But Forks Mayor Nedra Reed hopes she can extend that deadline to the end of the year.
“This is not fair to my community,” Reed said Tuesday.
“This is not fair to those people who have less than two weeks to find some alternative means.”
Cable subscribers living between Forks and Sappho received a letter Saturday from Millennium Digital Media, their service provider, saying it will no longer offer service in the area after Oct. 26 because it will not be cost-effective.
