■ Port Angeles Regional Chamber of Commerce — Twice-monthly luncheon meetings are held on the first and third Mondays at noon in the second-floor meeting room of the Red Lion Hotel, 221 N. Lincoln St.
This Monday’s luncheon program will be on military veterans assistance and the newly formed Chamber of Commerce veterans committee.
Featured speakers will be Tammy Sullenger of the Clallam County Veterans Relief Program and Alan Barnard of the chamber board.
Tickets for the luncheon are $15 and can be purchased from the meeting room cashier.
For those not having lunch, there is a $3 participation fee that includes a beverage.
■ Jefferson County Chamber of Commerce — Weekly luncheon meetings are held Mondays at noon at the Port Townsend Elks Lodge, 555 Otto St.
This Monday’s featured speakers are Betsi Farrell and Gigi Callazaikis of Full Circle HR of Port Townsend, which provides human resource consulting services.
They will discuss the value of employee handbooks for businesses and organizations.
The meeting sponsor will be Camp Beausite.
Lunch at $8 will be served by Subway. Audience members are asked to use the rear entrance of the Elks Lodge because of a blood drive that will be taking place near the front entrance.
■ Forks Chamber of Commerce — Luncheon meetings are Wednesdays at noon at JT’s Sweet Stuffs, 80 N. Forks Ave.
This Wednesday’s program will feature Will Payne, appointed Clallam County prosecuting attorney who is seeking election for a full four-year term this fall.
Payne’s election opponent will be Mark Nichols, a former county deputy prosecuting attorney who will be the Forks chamber’s June 25 featured speaker.
Lunch for Wednesday’s Chamber of Commerce meeting costs $8; a bowl of soup, $4.75; and a cup of soup, $4. The entree is barbecue chicken.
■ North Hood Canal Chamber of Commerce — Representing the “Emerald Towns” of the Hood Canal, Quilcene and Brinnon, the chamber meets monthly on the third Monday of the month.
The group will meet this Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Quilcene Community Center, 294952 U.S. Highway 101 in Quilcene, to hear Bonnie Story, principal of Story Board Productions.
Her topic will be “Social Media and Online Marketing Tips” and will include observations and suggestions about effective online marketing for small businesses.
Also speaking will be Debbie Williams, community engagement coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of East Jefferson County, on the group’s outreach, successes and challenges in the county’s southern portions.
■ Port Angeles Business Association — Breakfast meetings are Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. at Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 DelGuzzi Drive, Port Angeles.
The program for this Tuesday’s meeting was not announced by Saturday.
There is a $3 minimum charge by Joshua’s for those who do not order breakfast.
