SHINE — Hood Canal drivers, beware.
Motorists can expect nighttime closures of the Hood Canal Bridge next week while state Department of Transportation Bridge Preservation crews conduct maintenance operations and adjust the draw span systems.
Traffic closures of up to 40 minutes are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Crews will reopen the bridge to motorists between bridge system adjustments, allowing traffic queues to clear.
