Community’s generosity fuels COVID-19 Relief Fund

Your generosity to the COVID-19 Relief Fund has provided Olympic Community Action Programs with $136,052 to give grants to help people across the North Olympic Peninsula who are in financial hardship because of COVID-19 precautions.

You looked beyond yourselves to help your neighbors.

Many of you donated in honor of those on the front lines of this epidemic.

Others gave to honor loved ones.

Whether you gave $50 or $5,000 you are evidence of the strength of compassion at a time when all are frightened of illness and of being unable to provide for basic needs for ourselves and our families.

Your compassion offers hope.

Your donations help to blunt fear.

“It is inspiring to see the many ways the community is coming forward to help during this pandemic,” said Terry Ward, Peninsula Daily News publisher.

“The generosity of our COVID-19 Relief Fund donors will make a difference for so many people affected financially across Clallam and Jefferson counties.”

There is no way to thank you enough. But at least we can let others know what you did.

Here is a list of the donations given to the COVID-19 Relief Fund during the past two weeks.
