Horse and livestock owners can attend free workshops designed for them on Tuesday in Joyce and a week later in Forks.
Participants will learn about Clallam Conservation District’s free farm-planning and cost-sharing services, as well as tips to prepare farms for the winter to reduce mud later in the season.
The workshops also will feature examples of improvements to farms throughout Clallam County.
Tuesday’s workshop will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Crescent Grange in Joyce.
The Forks workshop will run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, at the West End Business and Technical Center.
Due to space limitations, pre-registration is required.
