PORT ANGELES — The annual Clallam County Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 21.
The event at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., features employment readiness workshops, resource agency information, a professional clothes closet and actively hiring employers.
More than 50 area employers will be available to talk with job seekers about open positions and application processes.
Many of the employers will also be available from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to meet with those who cannot attend during the work day, event organizers said.
Jobs for skilled and unskilled workers cover fields from manufacturing, retail, education and hospitality positions to finance, health care, mechanics, construction and more.
Agencies will also be available to provide employment resources such as how to prepare for employment and overcome obstacles to employment.
Attendees can choose a free outfit from a professional clothes closet, hosted by First Federal and Morningside Services.

Boot camp classes
Classes are held in the mornings Tuesday and Wednesday this week and March 20.
The multi-part boot camp is not mandatory but is designed to help job seekers be prepared to best present themselves to employers.
Topics covered during the camp include resume preparation, interviewing, following up with employers and dressing for success.
