PORT ANGELES — The Clallam County Charter Review Commission will conduct a virtual meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday.
All commissioners will take part through video or phone technology.
The Clallam County Charter Review Commission had canceled the meeting but now will meet using BlueJeans video or Zoom phone conferencing at the Clallam County Courthouse to comply with Gov. Jay Inslee’s mandate prohibiting in-person meeting attendance.
While community residents will not be able to attend in person, the meeting can be viewed at www.clallam.net/features/ meetings.html.
Those wishing to participate have two options:
• By phone, call 888-475-4499 or 877-853-5257 and use meeting ID 752-425-155.
• By video conference, visit bluejeans.com and join with meeting ID 149-603-340.

Clallam is one of seven counties in the state that operates under a home-rule charter, a “constitution” for county government.
The Charter Review Commission will incorporate citizen input as it develops proposed charter amendments for voters to consider in the November election.
