PORT TOWNSEND — What was supposed to be the Mystery Classic Car Cruise turned out to be the “Misty” car cruise instead.
But the destination proved to be worth braving the weather, the participants agreed on Sunday.
Twelve guests were driven in style to Marrowstone Island, where they toured Ted Buckland’s extensive collection of classic cars.
A fundraiser for Centrum, the ride to and from Marrowstone was a bit on the wet side, but the guests weren’t complaining.
“It was fun,” said Beverly Rich.
“I’ve never ridden in a Corvette before.”
