CAPE GEORGE — A state investigation into complaints lodged against Jefferson County Fire District No. 6 has been completed with few findings against the agency.
The most significant substantiated charge brought a $100 fine against the district for not posting a federal form detailing injuries from the previous year.
The form, mandated by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, must be posted for review three months out of each year.
“It was something we weren’t aware of,” Firefighter Justin Clouse said. “Now we are.”
