A canoe from the Quinault Nation is pulled from the water after its arrival at the Lower Elwha Klallam Reservation west of Port Angeles on Sunday. They were part of the 2023 Paddle to Muckleshoot canoe journey, which is expected to gather tribal paddlers from throughout Canada and Washington state and end July 30 on Alkai Beach in West Seattle.
