BUSINESS BRIEFS: Sequim thrift shop to open Saturday . . . and other items

SEQUIM — The Sequim-Dungeness Hospital Guild’s thrift shop at 204 W. Bell St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.

Featured will be furniture and household accessories, kitchen utensils and dishes, jewelry, purses, shoes, games and puzzles.

All white-tagged items will be marked half-price.

Volunteers and consignors are always needed.

Paper shredding

SEQUIM — Free shredding of sensitive papers will be offered at Castell Insurance, 426 E. Washington St., from 10 am to noon Saturday.

Papers will be disposed of securely.

Donations of cash or school supplies also will be taken for students in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula’s back-to-school event Aug. 23.

Practice to open

PORT ANGELES — A new medical practice, Rejuvacare PC, providing aesthetic and regenerative treatments, will open at 109 N. Oak St. on Thursday, Aug. 27.

Dr. Theodore Harrison and Dr. Louise Andrew are the business’ owners.

PORT ANGELES — Mikki Reidel, health and well-being coordinator at Olympic Peninsula YMCA, has completed the biomechanics of assisted stretching course through the American Council on Exercise.

Reidel can now facilitate a stretching program for clients by assisting with safe stretching using techniques for specific areas of the body, according to a news release.
