BUSINESS BRIEFS: Port Angeles coffee stand to host grand opening Monday . . . and other items

PORT ANGELES — NW Coffee Co., a new espresso drive-through, will host a grand opening this Monday.

The stand is located at 3276 E. U.S. Highway 101.

It is owned by Chris and Rose Waldron.

Hours are 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays. It is currently closed Sundays.

Quimper additions

PORT TOWNSEND — Quimper Mercantile Co., 1121 Water St., has added more staff to help with the business.

Marjorie Wyman, Ken Hulick and Heather Harbin are the new employees.

PORT ANGELES — Here is this week’s schedule for the 1:05 p.m. to 2 p.m. local talk show segment on KONP radio, at 1450 AM, 101.7 FM and www.konp.com on the Internet outside the Port Angeles area.

Station General Manager Todd Ortloff hosts the Monday through Thursday segments.

This week’s scheduled lineup:

■ Monday: Kevin Russell, president of the North Peninsula Builders Association, discusses how to make sure of hiring a licensed, bonded builder.

Second segment: Nicole Blackburn and Jodi Jones of Paw Prince discuss holiday safety with pets and the services Paw Prince offers to the community.

■ Tuesday: Getta Rogers of the Peninsula College Foundation discusses the Jingle Jazz Concert.

■ Wednesday: Repeat show.

■ Thursday: Clallam County commissioners.
